Spring has finally sprung, and as we walk the path of change, I believe this is such a magical time of the year. It’s a time of rebirth and renewal, growth and discovery, and what better time than now to sow the seeds for new beginnings?
On a crisp Sunday morning, as I walked through the woods with my family, I was struck by the ever-changing beauty of the natural world around us. I’ve walked these woods many times before, but this time, I truly felt present, grounded, and IN the moment. The world around me was alive, humming with the energy of the season. I could hear the magical beat of nature’s rhythm, the pulse of Mother Earth herself.
The birds were singing their songs, two majestic kites soared across the sky, and I stopped to take in the pure white snowdrops with their delicate, droopy heads.
The bluebells were just beginning to peek through the mulch, the crocuses were proudly displaying their colorful medley, the daffodils were unfurling their buds, and my favourite flower of all—the hyacinth—was slowly opening up, filling the air with its sweet fragrance.
As we walked further, we circled the trees, feeling their energy as they stood strong and proud, deeply rooted in the earth. One tree, in particular, caught my eye, with patterns that seemed to tell the story of time itself. We admired the untamed, free-flowing trees intertwined with one another, telling a tale that only they could understand, and the wildflowers that carpeted the ground, so vibrant and full of life.
The boys were running ahead, stomping, laughing, discovering and climbing trees, while my daughter happily skipped along the unbeaten, winding path. In that moment, it occurred to me that as we enter Spring and welcome the longer days, we are also entering a season of transformation. The butterflies, bees, and bugs that will float and buzz around us are all part of this beautiful process.
Spring is a reminder of how we grow, just like nature does, in every season and through every challenge. It’s about who we choose to be in this world, and how we raise our children. Every change, every season brings its own lessons, and every day offers an opportunity to learn and transform.
As I sit here writing this and watch the blue tits flutter outside my window, I’m filled with gratitude. I know that the seed I’ve planted—this idea of Pregnancy Retreats—has just sprouted, and will grow into something beautiful, just like the season itself. It’s all about being present, going with the flow, and trusting that everything will unfold as it is meant to. This seed is coming from the core of our hearts, and as we raise our vibrations, sending them out with deep love, we will blossom untamed into the world, just as we are meant to.
May you grow and transform into all that your heart desires: seed it, plant it, nurture it, love it, grow it, and own it. Trust in the process, and know that with every moment, you are becoming the best version of yourself.
